I joined the University of York as a Lecturer in July 2018, following 12 years at the University of Warwick.

I was at Warwick between 2006 and 2018, first studying for an M.Eng. in Computer Science and then undertaking a Ph.D. within the High Performance and Scientific Computing (HPSC) research group. I completed my Ph.D. in 2014 with a thesis titled "Monitoring, Analysis and Optimisation of I/O in Parallel Applications".

Following my Ph.D., I was a post-doctoral research fellow in the HPSC research group at Warwick. Additionally, I was the module organiser and lecturer for the Programming for Computer Scientists module.
