My research is in the general area of Computer Vision and Machine Learning,
with an emphasis on 3D imaging, shape analysis, modelling and deep learning.
I am a member of the CVPR research group at York (UK).
Additionally I am in the Beyond Human Vision theme and the
People, Health and Wellbeing theme,
as I am interested in health applications of CVPR.
I have a co-edited graduate text entitled: 3D Imaging, Analysis and Applications
(Springer book homepage)
and was awarded a Senior Research Fellowship (2013-14) by the Royal Academy of Engineering (Royal Academy of Engineering/The Leverhulme Trust Senior Research Fellowship).
Recently, I received two Google Faculty Awards sponsoring work in 3D morphable models of the full human head (2017-18), and human eye modelling (2018-19).
I am happy to receive PhD applications - please look at my PhD applicant's page page.
