Everything else is just a toy!

A toy company is taken over by a military conglomerate, which results in some state of the art mil-spec chips being mistakenly installed in "action figures", with the overly aggressive Commando Elite programmed to battle the peaceful, but very weird, Gorgonites. They do so with gusto, but their battle ground is the horrified Alan Abernathy's suburban home.

The special effects, the characterisations, the miniature weaponry constructed from household implements, the action, and the many witty references to other films, make this a fun roller-coaster ride of suburban mayhem. The attack of the militarised Gwendy dolls in particular is great, with a wonderful mix of hilarity and horror.
