All the passengers on a particular flight to India discover they now have superpowers: one can fly, one can access the entire web without a computer, one can be in several places at once, one can transform into a famous anime character, one is a famous Indian god, ... Naturally, not everyone is happy about this, and several factions start battling it out.

This is fun, pacey stuff, as a mixed bunch of ordinary people have to cope both with what to do with their new powers, whilst also trying to avoid the bad guys who want to exploit those powers for their own ends. What might otherwise be typical wish fulfillment fare is leavened by knowing references to the whole superhero comic genre, and some weird consequences of power misuse. But still plenty of slugfests.
