Babylon 5 : Thirdspace

[Thirdspace]

We are halfway through the 4th season: the Shadow War is over, and Earth is blockading B5. On their way back from a mission, Ivanova's squadron discovers a huge artifact in hyperspace and tows it back to the station for investigation. That's when things start going wrong...

I don't know how much sense this would make to someone who hasn't seen the rest of the TV series. For the rest of us, this is a good, but not a great, story of B5. Sheridan, Ivanova, Lyta and Zack have the largest parts -- Delenn and Vir rather less. The main problem is that it's not really an arc story, and it seems a bit weird that an event of this magnitude would have gone unremarked in the 'later' TV episodes. But there are enough good moments, and we learn a bit more about the Vorlons, and about the relationship between Zack and Lyta (Straczynski does have a way with elevator conversations).
