I am a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) at the Department of Computer Science of the University of York, where I research and teach automated and model-driven software engineering. I am also an active Eclipse Foundation committer, leading the development of the open-source Epsilon platform under the Eclipse Modelling project, and an associate editor of the IET Software journal.

Looking for a PhD in Software Engineering?

I am currently recruiting PhD candidates in the field of software engineering with a (non-exclusive) focus on automated and model-based software engineering. If you have strong object-oriented design and development skills and you would like to join a world-class research group, please read on.
