Stargate SG-1 : season 2 review

22 50 minute episodes

SF elements

hostile alien contact; FTL travel

This TV spin off from the film Stargate continues to be watchable. The format is unchanged from season 1 , with the SG-1 team visiting the planet of the week, but a little more complexity has been added to the storyline, with the introduction of the Tok'Ra, enemies of the Goa'uld. I particularly like the way the Stargate operation is made to feel bigger than just SG-1, with more references to other SG teams. Roll on season 3.
