I teach on the MSc in Human-Centred Interactive Technologies and the undergraduate computer science degree programmes. I also supervise undergraduate and postgraduate projects. To find out more go to my teaching page. I am currently the Chair of the Board of Examiners for the department.
I do research on the experience of playing videogames and modelling user interactions. Research in HCI is made complicated by being a multidisciplinary subject that tries to change the world it studies. So I am also very interested in research methods and with Anna Cox wrote:
