Nick Pears researches in the areas of Computer Vision, Pattern Recognition and Robotics at the Department of Computer Science, University of York.

My current research includes projects in

  • 3D face recognition and other vision based biometrics.
  • Visually driven-human computer interaction.
  • Real-time embedded computer vision (eg: ubiquitous vision applications).
  • Computer vision for robotic applications (eg: ground/obstacle segmentation).
