The goal of submitting a full ALAMAS CA proposal by the first cut-off
date (13 May 2003) proved unachievable, with several partners being
involved in the preparations of other proposals to the IST call for the
24 April deadline, and me being ill for quite a while afterwards. This
leaves quite a lot of time for the preparation of a water-tight
proposal, which could come in two flavours: one to go to the FET Open
call next cut-off date (16 Sept 2003), and possibly another to the FET
2nd call in the area of Cognitive Sciences (deadline 15 Oct 2003).

The CA bid should have <10 core partners, who would have to sign the
contract. All other nodes which expressed interest in the bid, and have
a matching profile (which, in the worst case, is the vast majority of
nodes and in the best - all of them), will be listed in the bid in order
to show who is going to join the network once it is created.

Greetings,

Dimitar Kazakov
