We are hoping we can make a presentation in the ALAD Sig Meeting in
Barcelona.

Presenter: Pedro Figueiredo

Topics of the presentation
    Using emotion to learn agent control structures and emotion eliciting
conditions
    We are planning to use abductive reasoning on top of a causal dependency
network to identify the causes for positive and negative emotions

Possible Applications
    Building the models of workers in organizational settings for supporting
human resource management decisions

Future developments
    We would like to devise adaptive learning to automatically tune system
non symbolic parameters (e.g., input activation levels, emotion intensity
thresholds...)

We would need funding in order to go there and make the presentation.
