My name is Yannis Korkontzelos and I come from Chalandri, a suburb of Athens, the capital of Greece. I am currently a third year PhD candidate in the University of York, Department of Computer Science, supervised by Dr. Suresh Manandhar. I am a member of the Artificial Intelligence Group. I have been granted a scholarship from the Department of Computer Science for 2006-2009. I am also a Resident College Tutor of James College, within the University of York. I hold an MPhil in Computer Text, Speech and Internet Technology (CSTIT), University of Cambridge. I obtained a first-class honours degree from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (E.C.E.), National Technical University of Athens with a major in Computer Science and Engineering and a minor in Communications and Computer Networks.
