I am moving!
From 1st September 2016, I will no longer be working for the University of York. To keep in touch, please visit my personal website.

I would like your feedback!
As part of my PhD, I am developing an accessibility information resource called WebAIR (Web Accessibility Information Resource). This is a prototype resource for helping web developers learn about web accessibility and supporting them in creating accessible websites. If you are a web developer, educator, web accessibility practitioner, or just interested in web accessibility, I would be grateful if you would take a look at WebAIR and provide any feedback, comments or suggestions via the short survey.

Worked on Co-Motion, a three year 'Design for Wellbeing' project investigating the links between mobility and wellbeing amongst older people.

I also worked on the European Commission-funded i2Web Project (Inclusive Future-Internet Web Services), which created authoring, delivery and compliance tools for developing and evaluating accessible web applications, and the EU4ALL Project (European Unified Approach for Assisted Lifelong Learning), which developed a framework for accessible lifelong learning for students with disabilities.

I am particularly interested in web accessibility and undertook a PhD investigating how best to support web developers in the creation of usable and accessible websites. This drew upon my work on the i2Web project and also my previous role as a web developer.
