About Me

I was a research fellow/lecturer in the Digital Creativity Labs based at the University of York working on Artificial Intelligence (AI), data mining and machine learning for digital games and interactive media.

I was also a member of the Artificial Intelligence and Games research groups in the Department of Computer Science, a Google Developer Expert in machine learning, a fellow of The Digital Catapult Centre and the Lead Industry Liaison for the Centre for Doctoral Training in Intelligent Games and Game Intelligence (IGGI).

My research was focussed on using games to push boundaries in the capabilities of modern AI and making state of the art methods accessible to the industry to encourage a new generation of intelligent games.
