I am a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York, England where I lead the Programming Languages and Systems (PLASMA) group.

I am Tools and Applications Editor for the Journal of Functional Programming.

I am a member of IFIP WG 2.8, an international working group on functional programming.

I am a member of the 2012 programme committees for ICFP, the ACM SIGPLAN international conference on functional programming, and for the Haskell Symposium.
