Colin Runciman
Research Interests
My main interest as a computer scientist is in programming languages
and systems, with a special interest in functional programming.
I started the York functional programming
group in the mid 1980s, and with my students and
associates have worked on various topics since then.
Working Affiliations
I am a Professor in the
Department of Computer Science at the University of York, England.
I am a member of
IFIP WG 2.8,
the IFIP working group on functional programming,
and of the Steering Committee for the
ACM SIGPLAN Haskell Symposium.
I am Tools and Applications Editor for the
Journal of Functional Programming.

For the more immediate forms of communication it may help you to know
that my working week at the university runs from Monday to Friday.
I am occasionally at my desk in the evening, or on a Saturday, but I
don't work on Sundays.
