Colin Runciman

I am a Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Computer Science at the University of York, England where I lead the Programming Languages and Systems (PLASMA) group.

My planned teaching in 2012-13 includes contributions to the first-year module Mathematical Foundations of Computer Science and to the second-year module Systems Software and Compilers.

I am a member of IFIP WG 2.8, an international working group on functional programming.

I am a member of the 2012 programme committees for ICFP, the ACM SIGPLAN international conference on functional programming, and for the Haskell Symposium.
