I am a researcher in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York. I currently work jointly in the Artificial Intelligence and Real-Time Systems Groups on a project to apply Machine Learning techniques to estimating Worst-Case Execution Time.
Prior to this, I was a PhD student at York in the Artificial Intelligence Group. My thesis focussed on using computer simulations to model the evolutionary beginnings of human language. I have also worked as an RA on various projects in the Artificial Intelligence Group — see the menu bar links for details.
I also work on Environmental Economics a little — just for fun.
I am currently supervising 2 final year undergraduate projects and maintain the Artificial Intelligence Group webpages.
Please contact me if you have any questions or comments on any of my work.
