Malihe Tabatabaie

I am Malihe Tabatabaie,  PhD student at the University of York. My PhD research is

under the supervision of Richard Paige and Fiona Polack. During this period my

internal assessor is Iain Bate from the Real-Time Systems research group.

My research area is predominantly focused on enterprise systems and their relation with organizational theories. The challenges in developing these types of systems and questions that are arise from this area are the main concerns at this stage of my research. During my master's project, I studied the software architecture of distributed information systems using the DAME case study from Rolls-Royce; computing resource management and discussing the potential technologies such as Grid, which can lead to improvements for the similar systems, were the main concerns of the work. However, my bachelor's project was concerned with developing a language for enterprise portals. The aim of the project was to propose a solution that can help companies to develop their portals with no need for expert programmers.

Within different sections of this website you can find more information about my work during the following years.

Mr. Christopher Kimble was my first supervisor during the first year of P.h.D.
