I am a Senior Lecturer in the Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition group in the Department of Computer Science at the University of York. I completed a BSc and PhD in Computer Science, both at the University of York, in 2002 and 2007 respectively.

I have published more than 80 papers in international journals and conferences. My google scholar profile is here. Please see research and publications for more details.

If you are interested in studying for a PhD under my supervision, I welcome applications from good students interested in computer vision or graphics. Please click here for more information.

I am happy to supervise intern students in the areas described in my research interests. Please only contact me regarding internships if you are able to fund the visit yourself.

I am the undergraduate admissions tutor for the department.

I created the Raspberry Challenge for our new undergraduates which takes place in October. Take a look at a video of the event here and the events in 2014 and 2013.
